This paper presents an experimental study of the output voltage performance of a rectenna mounted on a human body during walking motion. A rectenna with a high conversion efficiency, and comprised of a coaxial dielectric resonator with high Q and distributed capacitors, is introduced. We performed wireless power transmission experiments by varying the arm swing angle of the phantom. The results indicate that the experimentally obtained output voltage of the rectenna agree well with corresponding analytical values. The output voltage decreases due to polarization mismatch between the transmitting and receiving antennas caused by the movement of the arm.
