抄録

An undulator is a device which is widely used in the modern synchrotron light sources to produce quasi-monochromatic light. The waveform of the electric-field produced by an relativistic electron in the undulator is basically defined by the number of magnets and the gap between the magnets in the undulator. The square shaped waveform is predicted by a simple electro-magnetic theory, however, it has never been measured because no method has been suggested. It is important to characterize the electric-field produced in the undulator for the development of synchrotron sources.
