Solid reaction mechanism of Li2CO3 and FePO 4/C powder

LiFePO4 is used as a cathode material for rechargeable lithium-ion cell (LiFe battery). LiFePO4 powder was prepared by solid phase reaction. The apparent activation energy was calculated to 152 kJ/mol by TG Ozawa method. The unreacted peak of Li2CO3, Fe 2O3, Fe3O4 and Li3Fe 2(PO4)3 were confirmed in the sample synthesized at 873 K to 1023 K for 8 h hy using XRD. The peaks of LiFePO 4 were observed at 1073 K for 8 h. It's considered that diffusion controlled reaction of Li-ion was dominantly developed at a meddle field in this reaction.
