Abstract

We examine the relationship between cerebral blood flow and preference while viewing different image contents associated with emotions. In the area of image quality evaluation, the influence from human emotions and sensitivities is very important, and the biomedical information is the key to solve this problem. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the change of oxygenated hemoglobin (Oxy-Hb) in the frontal lobe of brain by using Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) while viewing the different image contents associated with emotions.
