Research interests
様々な植物から成分を抽出した植物抽出エキス(約1200種類)を保有しており,これらを用いた生理活性のスクリーニングを通して,生理活性物質の探索とその分離,精製を行ってきた.現在は,マウス精子の運動能を指標として超活性化を誘導する植物成分の探索を行っている.いくつかの植物抽出エキスにマウス精子の超活性化運動を誘導する効果を見出し有効成分の分離,精製を行っている.共同研究では,卵丘細胞-卵複合体にPACAP処理を行うことで体外受精率が有意に向上することを報告している(Tanii I, et al, Reproduction 2011).また,がん細胞のアポトーシスを誘導するナツメ由来成分の分離,精製を担当している(Mitsuhashi Y, et al, PLos ONE 2017).
