Research interests

I conduct research on the development of support and intervention programs for children with diverse support needs. I also design and provide support and professional development programs for parents and for teachers, including special needs education coordinators. In addition, I study educational programs that help pre-service teachers in faculties of education develop a deep and practical understanding of both the theory and practice of special needs education.

Furthermore, I explore comprehensive systems for community-based developmental support, with the goal of contributing to the realization of an inclusive society at the local and regional levels.

My research is guided by the belief that “research questions are not found within universities, but in schools and local communities.” Based on this principle, I actively engage in practice-oriented research by identifying challenges emerging from real educational and community settings and developing research-based solutions to address them.
